AFL Daily Fantasy Results – Round 3 – 2016

AFL Daily Fantasy Sports – Round 3 Results and Optimal Lineups
Friday night opened with a $5,000 GTD for the Port Adelaide vs Bombers clash. Once again this week the Guaranteed pool got smashed hitting a $6,500 prizepool including a $1,350 1st prize.
‘Bigwood’ was the winner with a score of 896 with 3 exact same lineups all tied for 2nd. The key to success for the winning side this week was the 4 bomber midfield performing and in particular Goddard and Kelly at low ownerships.
The Saturday Slam had a 5 game slate with a $7,050 prizepool. First prize was $1,500 paying down to the 82nd position.
1st prize went to ‘Reddev’ with a massive score of 1091 followed closely by ‘Johno686’. The winning team went in with a 4 Gold Coast suns stack in a 56 point win against Carlton with Tom Lynch (23p, 10m, 4g) and Kade Koldjashnij (26d,12m) big keys to success.
Sundays feature tournament included the blockbuster Doggies vs Hawthorn matchup and the blowout Geelong vs Brisbane game producing a $7,000 prizepool and $1,500 first prize.
1st prize went to ‘stinkbombs’ with a score of 931. With only one score on the day above 130 a mixture of strategies could of worked with the winning side heavily stacked towards Geelong with 4 players in the Geelong game and 2 Doggies in defence. Luke Dahlhaus (33d,2g) and avoiding overapaying on some high ownership premium flops got ‘stinkbombs’ across the line.

Friday night opened with a $5,000 GTD for the Collingwood vs Richmond clash. Once again this week the Guaranteed pool got smashed for a $6,500 prizepool including a $1,350 1st prize.
PkPopeye was the winner with a score of 934 closely followed by myfootyboots on 927. Key players for the winning side this week including Jackson Ramsay owned in just 14% of teams and returning 26x production based on his $3,500 price tag. Alex Fasolo returning 20x production and a structured popular core around JROO, Dusty and Houli got this side across the line.
The Saturday Slam had a 5 game slate with a $8,250 prizepool. First prize was $1,675 paying down to 99th position.
1st prize went to ‘molendr0’ with a score of 957. This team went with a very even spread stacking no more then 2 players from the same team and splaying a very midpriced lineup. Nailing large scores from 3 low owned players in Zaharikis, Hunter and Laird was keys to this teams success.
Sundays feature tournament included the Hawthorn vs West Coast and Carlton vs Sydney games producing a $7,250 prizepool and $1,550 first prize.
1st prize went to ‘dpwoodford’ with a score of 1041. His team went heavily stacked towards the two winning teams on the day in Hawthorn and Sydney with key players to the win including Josh Gibson (44d, 9m), Tom Mitchell (34d, 8m, 9t) and low ownership options in Grant Birchall and Kurt Tippett.

AFL Daily Fantasy Sports – Round 1 Results and Optimal Lineups
The season opened with a $5,000 GTD in the Richmond vs Carlton clash which got blown away with a $6,750 prizepool including a $1,350 1st prize paying down to 144 spots with the winning entry going to ‘Apollo’.
The winning side was very heavily stacked with Blues players and even with Dusty under performing he managed to nail the perfect defensive pairing of Simpson and Docherty along with Gibbs and Murphy starring in the middle was enough for Apollo to get the win.
The Saturday Slam included 3 games on the slate with a $10,000 GTD prizepool. First prize was $2,000 paying down to 120th position with the 1st prize going to ‘Crystal Bros’.
The winning side was stacked with 5 Gold Coast players in there flogging vs Essendon. Dion Prestia, Matthew Stokes and Luke Parker all played massive roles in the win all with under 15% ownership.
Sundays feature tournament was another 3 game slate featuring a $10,000 GTD prizepool. First prize was $2,000 paying down to 120th position with the 1st prize going to ‘Wackywilbur with only 5 points separating the top 4.
The winning lineup of this round had to have the Kennedy (8g, 16m, 25d) and Priddis (43d) combo. Brad Ebert and Elliot Yeo were also very important producing at low ownership levels of 6.6 and 6.8%.
Onto the big clash on Monday we had the Hawks and Cats featuring in a $5,000 GTD which went well over to hit a $8,000 Prizepool. First Prize was $1,650 paying 95 spots with ‘Anarchy121’ producing the goods for the win.
Although Geelong were the winners on the day a semi stacked Hawthorn lineup was enough for the winner to get the job done. This side nailed the premium studs in Dangerfield, Mitchell, Lewis and Gunston and value players in Frawley, Smith and Hartung all played well for there value.
