AFL Daily Fantasy Sports – Round 1 Results and Optimal Lineups
The season opened with a $5,000 GTD in the Richmond vs Carlton clash which got blown away with a $6,750 prizepool including a $1,350 1st prize paying down to 144 spots with the winning entry going to ‘Apollo’.
The winning side was very heavily stacked with Blues players and even with Dusty under performing he managed to nail the perfect defensive pairing of Simpson and Docherty along with Gibbs and Murphy starring in the middle was enough for Apollo to get the win.
The Saturday Slam included 3 games on the slate with a $10,000 GTD prizepool. First prize was $2,000 paying down to 120th position with the 1st prize going to ‘Crystal Bros’.
The winning side was stacked with 5 Gold Coast players in there flogging vs Essendon. Dion Prestia, Matthew Stokes and Luke Parker all played massive roles in the win all with under 15% ownership.
Sundays feature tournament was another 3 game slate featuring a $10,000 GTD prizepool. First prize was $2,000 paying down to 120th position with the 1st prize going to ‘Wackywilbur with only 5 points separating the top 4.
The winning lineup of this round had to have the Kennedy (8g, 16m, 25d) and Priddis (43d) combo. Brad Ebert and Elliot Yeo were also very important producing at low ownership levels of 6.6 and 6.8%.
Onto the big clash on Monday we had the Hawks and Cats featuring in a $5,000 GTD which went well over to hit a $8,000 Prizepool. First Prize was $1,650 paying 95 spots with ‘Anarchy121’ producing the goods for the win.
Although Geelong were the winners on the day a semi stacked Hawthorn lineup was enough for the winner to get the job done. This side nailed the premium studs in Dangerfield, Mitchell, Lewis and Gunston and value players in Frawley, Smith and Hartung all played well for there value.
