We recently caught up with Matthew Johns, the founder of the new Aussie fantasy tipping start-up Tipping Cartel.
Frustrated by the lack of development in the world of footy tipping, young professional Matthew Johns decided to do something about.
Enter his new Australian start-up the Tipping Cartel.
The Cartel run ripping competitions covering all of your favourite Football codes.
“I started the Cartel as I wanted to create a modern and unique offering as each year I was always involved in footy tipping comps and people always either got bored or lost interest half way though” – founder Matthew Johns told Fantasy Stars
“They might’ve been on holidays and missed a few rounds, or were just too far back to win. I thought what if people could tip over two or three weeks without the commitment of season long.”
“Then for the true sports lovers why not combine codes. Two week AFL/NRL comps where you can tip on both codes.”
“The vision is to be theworld’ss best platform for footy tipping and sports pick’em competitions. 2017 is an exciting year.”
The Tipping Cartel closed their doors in late 2016 to allow for development and platform improvements.
They only recently relaunched to the market and the changes are noticeable.
“The relaunch in 2017 has delivered a brand new platform with more features, sports and competitions available to users.” Johns said,
“For the traditionalists it also includes the ability to create and manage season long AFL comps taking away all admin needed with other sites.”
The Tipping Cartel summarize their offering very simply and their branding and creative is very clever.
Appealing to the average joe who loves being social with friends and watching live sport.
