We start Week 7 with a division showdown between the Bears and the Packers. Who, if any of those players will make our NFL Week 7 Fantasy Tips?
**The following information is based off the Moneyball pricing ahead of NFL Week 7
Quarterback
Andy Dalton – Cincinnati – $8,400
Dalton has the best chance of winning in Week 7 (based off Pinnacle odds). He also is playing a Cleveland defensive unit that has conceded at least 25 points in all of their games so far. The Browns are yet to win a game and if Dalton and the Cincinnati Bengals are any chance of rescuing their season it will start this week against their division rivals. Expect Bengals wide receiver AJ Green is heavily targeted!
Colin Kaepernick – San Francisco – $6,500
GPP ONLY! The Bucs should bounce back and beat the 49ers but even if they do Kaepernick looks underpriced. He only threw for 187 yards last week and yet he scored a serviceable 18.1 fantasy points due to his ability to run the ball also (66 yards rushing). Although he played poorly, he still performed well fantasy wise for his price, any improvement on that would be great and he has the ceiling to score 30+ at low ownership levels.
Running Back
CJ Anderson – Denver – $7,000
Anderson started the season in hot fashion but has since cooled off. There are holes in the Houston run defense now that JJ Watt is out and we think Denver will go back to relying heavily on their ground game this week. Murray and McCoy are very pricey, save some cash and plug in CJ.
Wide Receiver
AJ Green – Cincinnati – $9,000
The logical stack with Dalton this week. He has gone big twice in 2016 already (Week 1 at NYJ and Week 4 at MIA) and yet has only scored two touchdowns all season long. The Bengals season (and Marvin Lewis’ job) is almost on the line this week against the Browns and we expect them to rely heavily on their number one receiver and probably the teams best player.
Randall Cobb – Green Bay – $6,400
Low ownership option right here. Aaron Rodgers is out of sorts, the Packers can’t afford to drop this very winnable road game against the Bears following three straight games in Wisconson. One player Rodgers will lean on is Randall Cobb who has racked up his most career receiving yards versus the Bears. Cobb’s gone for a total of 522 yards in five years at 15.4 YPC to go with six touchdowns in nine games played against the Bears.
Tight End
Delanie Walker – Tennessee – $6,300
Tough week for Tight Ends if you’re not willing to pay up for Gronk! Walker is coming off a shocking week last week in the Titans win over the Browns so we can probably expect pretty low ownership. He gets a terrific match-up in the Colts and a big chance to bounce back. He is without doubt one of Mariota’s favourite targets and worth a second chance this week or a pairing if you play MM at quarterback.
Defense/Special Teams
Top value Defense and Special Teams for Week 7 are as follows;
Tennessee $4,000
Cincinnati $4,300
Tampa Bay $4,000
