Our tips for today’s King Of The Court are below!
Most points
A) James Harden
B) Kevin Durant
C) Paul George
**Our pick: Kevin Durant
Potentially guarded by Paul Pierce for stretches tonight, he’ll also get some Jeff Green and Luc Richard Mbah A Moute. A nice high total and the obvious pick given Chris Paul will be going at Westbrook all night long. Durant only had 24 points last time they met but he did have a tough shooting night (1-7 from three).
Most rebounds
A) DeMarcus Cousins
B) Dwight Howard
C) Anthony Davis
**Our pick: Dwight Howard
Dwight is quietly playing pretty good Basketball at the moment and the majority of his work is being done on the glass. Tonight will be no different. He’s had more than 13 rebounds in eight of his last nine games!
Most 3-Pointers
A) Kyle Lowry
B) J.J Reddick
C) Isaiah Thomas
**Our pick: Kyle Lowry
We are assuming that J.J will have the most ownership in this category but tonight he will be guarded tightly by Andre Roberson and we are happy to ‘bet around him’ so to speak. Thomas is in a 3-point shooting slump going just 8-30 over his last five games. Think there is a possibility he puts the cannon away tonight and tries to get to the rim a little more. He does have a nice match-up against the Blazers though and is second pick. We love Lowry tonight though because he is rested after taking Sunday off. He’ll be aggressive and is shooting 52.5% from the field in his last 10 games.
Most Assists
A) Russell Westbrook
B) John Wall
C) Ricky Rubio
**Our pick: Russell Westbrook
Russ has had over ten assists in four of his last five games and since we’ve taken Kevin Durant for most points it makes logical sense to compliment that pick with Russ to have a huge game dropping dimes. Happy with this pick as Rubio will be guarded by Wall tonight and Wall will be looking to score on Rubio more than he does normally.
Winner
**Our pick: San Antonio Spurs
The odds tell us they are going to win this game 93% and we get the feeling there will be less than 93% of #KingOfTheCourt players on the Spurs so we couldn’t fade them today. If you are after a value pick that’s a bit abstract then take the Wizards who’ve won seven of their last ten and should handle the Timberwolves tonight.
