Back to the normal start time for Moneyball’s NBA contests after a hectic Monday with a host of late outs, early foul trouble and blowouts to deal with. Let’s hope for smoother sailing today!
Two double-figure spreads on the slate with Washington and the Los Angeles Clippers favoured big at home.
Oklahoma City and Sacramento shapes up to be a crucial high scoring fantasy contest.
Lot’s of Memphis players are popping up in our numbers today, we could make a case for playing about five of them!
LeBron is expected to play and try and stop the rot in Cleveland while Rondo seems unlikely to play off the early information.

Players to consider
Point Guard
Shelvin Mack (Utah) $3,500
He’s back! Shelvin is still a bargain basement price and for a starting guard he will stand out to most people today. We are predicting 29 minutes tonight at point guard and he looks a terrific chance of achieving x6 value! Note: Mack has a tough match-up so make sure your exposure isn’t too high on him.
Russell Westbrook (OKC) $11,800
Huge points total for OKC v Sacramento tonight, Russ will have his way with Rondo (if he plays) as well. We all know he’s blowout proof and he’s the number one play on our numbers today. Westbrook is projecting an enormous 68 points! Both he and Mack will be well found so you may have to consider fading at least one in some tournament play.
Shooting Guard
Lance Stephenson (Memphis) $3,500
Risky pick, considering Stephenson is the sole occupant of Planet Lance and can go crazy at any one given time. However, today looks a day where you’ve just got to pucker up and take the risk. Projecting 24 minutes he’s an active player who has the potential for x8 production today. We also get a small discount compared to FanDuel pricing and he’ll be in a host of our lineups.

Small Forward
M.Barnes (Memphis) $5,100
He’s been called upon to do more with Gasol on the sidelines and tonight looks the right night to play him. He gets a nice points total, Denver playing without Danilo Galinari and a seemingly close game. Projecting 32 minutes and we think double figure FGA’s. He’s a must-play in a good portion of line-ups today.
Power Forward
Josh Smith (Houston) $3,500
Smith is in the starting line-up tonight and should get a minimum of 20 minutes and a chance of 25+. He’ll rebound the ball well and has a terrific match-up. The Bucks are lacking depth and often playing with small lineups while John Henson is out injured.
Centre
Rudy Gobert (Utah) $6,400
We love Rudy tonight against a Celtics team that can give up big chunks of rebounds. They are undersized and the Stifle Tower is overrsized. We get a juicy FanDuel price comparison discount and we’ve got him playing around 35 minutes tonight which is favourable. Lots of options at centre tonight including the likes of Brandon Wright, Miles Plumlee, Myles Turner and Jahlil Okafor but we gave the slight edge to Gobert.
