Aurora Stadium is traditionally a tricky ground for teams to play at and Hawthorn have turned it into a fortress of sorts in recent years (like they have at most grounds).
They have a win/loss record of 37-11 at Aurora despite losing in this corresponding fixture last year against Collingwood 111 to 72. That game aside they stifled their opponents in Tasmania last year:
Western Bulldogs to 57 points
Gold Coast to 40 points
Fremantle to 43 points
Brisbane to 63 points
So the potential for a low scoring game is certainly there especially considering the fact Carlton only averaged 10 goals per-game in season 2015. Consider that before you play too many of Carlton’s deep forwards!
