We are approaching the home turn in this year’s AFL Herald Sun SuperCoach competition. Check out our Fantasy Stars SuperCoach Update below!
As it currently stands we are in pretty good shape, sitting atop the ladder in all four of our leagues.
Our overall ranking is 1310 of 205,242 coaches.
We’ve got seven trades in the bank and 302k waiting to pounce on someone. The problem is, where to spend?
See below for our current squad.
Things have gone pretty well all season with only the Scott Selwood trade and the initial blunders with Atley and Hannebery standing out as errors we’d like to take back.
We’re in a position currently of good solid depth, particularly in the midfield and down back and we should have an advantage over most coaches during the run home.
Max Gawn is a player on our wishlist but still doesn’t look to be 100% back to his best. We’ll keep a close eye on him as the Witts-Gawn play is up our sleeve.
We’re also looking for a mid with some upside that we can loophole down the stretch. Someone capable of turning out that random score of 120+ that can swing the ledger in our favor.
Young players like Billings and Yeo are on the radar as well as Patrick Cripps who we are tipping to have a massive second half of the season for the Carlton Blues.
Otherwise, it’s a game of depth, luck and luxury upgrades down to the wire as we strive to meet our goal of finishing in the top 1000 coaches and hopefully, with a little extra luck we can sneak into the top 500!
Good luck with your teams as the season draws to an end.
