Fantasy Stars HQ had a tough round of fantasy footy like many coaches out there! Read on for our SuperCoach Round 4 Review.
We managed to score a total of 2010 as we limped through our toughest round of the season.
Thankfully, we were able to win all of our league games indicating that we weren’t the only crew who had a tough week of scores.
Popular premiums Patrick Dangerfield and Dustin Martin were well down as was Adam Treloar, Heath Shaw and Lance Franklin.
We’ve got 26 trades left at our disposal and some extra cash at bank.
Big decisions to be made this week but the Fantasy Stars curse continues with players we trade in scoring below their previous average.
This week it was Dusty Martin who had clearly his worst game for the season up in Brisbane.
There were a few positives however!
Witts and Sandilands continue to prove to be a dynamic ruck duo providing great value.
Dan Butler scored poorly but is proving a valuable cog for the Tigers as is Nankervis who delivered solid value again.
Bontempelli went over 100 yet again while Luke Dalhaus was in career best form on Good Friday.
Fyfe is back to somewhere near his best and Joel Selwood did what Joel Selwood does in big games against the Hawks on Monday!
Down back Adams, Laird and Otten keep getting the job done as did young Caleb Marchbank.
Areas of concern and focus for this week for us is ensuring that our rookies and bench players are still accruing value for us while also identifying our next target player to upgrade.
This week we have Monday Night Footy as well as the big Anzac Day clash next Tuesday so Thursday’s team sheets will not tell the full story.
Feel free to share your SuperCoach thoughts with us on Twitter or Facebook throughout the week,
Happy coaching folks!
