Round 5 was a long old grind, starting Friday night and going through to Tuesday! Read on for our Fantasy Stars Round 5 SuperCoach Review.
We scored 2193 SuperCoach points in Round 5.
With 26 trades still up our sleeve and 127k at the bank, we’re ready to start upgrading and weed out some of our weak links.
The full player scoring breakdown from Round 5 is listed below!
Round 5 was a tricky week for coaches with a number of team changes that left teams diving into their bench to cover base.
Andy Otten continued to be a terrific play with 101 points while Toby Nankervis benefitted from Jake Spencer’s injury on Monday night and helped himself to a stack of hit-outs that he doesn’t normally find.
Fife and Sandilands are a deadly combination at the moment with nice correlation between their performances.
Hoskin-Elliott hasn’t played a good game since we traded for him, go figure.
Selwood’s second half on Sunday was worthy of a medal and Captain Paddy Dangerfield kept his run of 100+ scores intact.
Our three most disappointing performances from Round 5 were Powell-Pepper, Franklin and Swallow.
Of the three, Swallow is the only player that concerns us going forward.
We’ve got a stack of reserves (listed below) that appear to be fringe players going forward and we’ll need some luck at the selection table to be able to generate much cash from them.
