We’re a happy team at Fantasy Stars HQ following a solid Round 10 performance by our SuperCoach team.
We 2359 SuperCoach points in Round 10 which was good for the 760th best score in Australia.
Our season ranking is now at 1437 out of 202,806 coaches – not bad!
We’ve had a good run with injuries thus far and if we can navigate safely through the bye weeks should be able to hold our strong overall ranking.
We have 16 trades left and $86,000 in the bank after trading in Greenwood and Goldstein ahead of Round 10.
Updated squad and scores from the weekend below;
There wasn’t one area that stood out – it was more of a consistent performance across the board from the Fantasy Stars squad.
Out of the premium crew the following guys performed slightly below expectation; Heath Shaw, Nat Fyfe, Rory Laird, Marcus Bontempelli, Isaac Heeney and Luke Dalhaus.
Big games to LanceĀ Franklin, Toby Greene, Michael Hibberd, Taylor Adams, Dustin Martin, Patrick Dangerfield (huge!), Adam Treloar (huge!) and Joel Selwood helped the cause.
Of the two guys we traded in ahead of Round 10 Greenwood accrued another solid score and is set to rise in price next week while Todd Goldstein had a below par game against Carlton big man Matthew Kruezer.
Goldy should dominate the hit-out battle against Toby Nankervis this week and hit back with a 100+ point game.
Going forward navigating through the bye weeks will be tricky but we do have all but two of our players healthy and playing week in week out which is a great starting point.
Ideally, we need to find at least one more premium scorer down back. The options, however, are very limited with Alex Rance, Kade Simpson and Zac Williams a few of the names we will consider in coming weeks.
Good coaching!
